Answers to Your Questions

Our dogs are NEVER left unattended. When more than 15 dogs are in a room there are multiple staff members, so attention can be paid to the dogs at all times.

Dogs less than 15 lbs are separated to be with others of similar size. Unless specific permission is given by the owner to allow them to be with larger dogs.

We also use tools such as muzzles, thundershirts and harnesses with dogs that need the extra attention or are misusing their mouths in any way.

All staff are trained on behaviours, meaning we are watching for the subtle cues so we can intervene before an incident takes place.

Daycare is NOT a free-for-all. We control how escalated the play energy gets.
We work really hard to maintain a certain level of control in all daycare rooms.
